Together, we’ll reflect on the period before and after the Revolution, explore the journey to freedom and democracy, and discuss the current threats of autocracy and totalitarianism facing our nations.

The writer Magdalena Platzová and her translator, Alex Zucker, will discuss Life after Kafka, a widely acclaimed novel based on the letters between Franz Kafka and Felice Bauer, which was translated into many languages, including English.
